It's just better to go with the flow and work in that one area.
So yeah the blog has moved to wordpress, where it'll sync up and provide a resource to DragonBreath and be a D20 resource.Juan Navarrohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02162417287125897071noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12937931.post-81380563764097355212008-01-01T07:59:00.000-08:002008-01-04T05:46:43.286-08:00Happy New Year!Hope everyone drinks plenty of Grog and get +1 in STR, -8 WIS and 50% chance of embarrassment.

As for my Christmas well lets just say:

I did pretty good after lootingJuan Navarrohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02162417287125897071noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12937931.post-52583514556143707162007-12-17T10:38:00.000-08:002007-12-17T10:48:46.412-08:00So now then...

....i am currently up to the pits in shite before the holidays start which I will be working for my part-time so the blog will be null till then but I will be writing a lot till that happens. I plan to put up work every week for the next year so I'd rather put in the filler now and have it ready, then to let it trickle out like shit.

SO I hope to divide the blog into the following: Plots/Beats (What the PC's are actually going through), Sessions (What happened), PCs (If the players allow or write something up themselves), NPCs (Stats and Portraits!) Maps (One already up and more elaborate ones) Monsters (Stats and Illustrations) and then FEATS, Magic Items, and Spells if I get to write any.

Like this the whole site can be cataloged and used for other players out there and maybe even a bit of critiquing can happen? I don't know, but I hope to go to the Enworld boards and WOTC boards with this to draw a crowd and see if the experiment works. The one secret? Persistence, I think.Juan Navarrohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02162417287125897071noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12937931.post-64625823220949334242007-12-04T05:25:00.000-08:002007-12-04T05:38:05.121-08:00Well first let me start off by.....Introduction:
My gaming group is based in a home-brewed of my somewhat limited construction. The world is getting it's feel now, but initially it was just based on a war campaign. I was inspired by the campaign book/adventure kit from Dragon #309 and the corresponding Dungeun #100 "Incursion" campaign and workbook., but didn't really feel like using the Githyanki and/or Githzerai races. Don't get me wrong they are kick ass, but I didn't really feel like getting into a multi-planal campaign. I also didn't dig the flavor of the them as characters;"We hate the Material Plane, grr" sorta thing ticks me off. I did love all the idea and set up they had for the campaign so I instantly got on board with that, plus the rules set up and possibilities that can happen. SO I just needed another race, a vengeful race, one that could be intuitive for war, and good at it, but also blind in it's rage and response to everything.
HUMANS. Of course.
So then I decided to make a human empire at war with the world naturally this reflects some already Historic events and people; from Alexanders march across the Ancient Known world, and the Roman Empire's battle for control long afterwards to the Axis powers and Hitler's try at extermination of an entire people. They're was definitely a lot of resources to draw from for character and nation development.
The cold harsh mountainous region of Narrisia was born.

Narrisian Soldier
At the same time, I created other nations to respond. But this was all quick. If I remember right, I had like 3 days to come up with something for the group when we were going to play and liked this idea since they all would just get drafted, and go right into battle, and it worked really well.
Now, years later and after a couple of campaign parties and adventures, the world is set up and it's a very active world. It's a war-time place, and as much as other things can be happening, it's a constant reminder of whats going on.
This is the basis of my gaming group's campaign world, Essidarius and the many nations within, and what is going on. SOon you'll get to know it too, and maybe hey even use it, hmmm?

A LOT of this will be changed.
(now sure some of those names are none to original, but try pulling a whole alternate reality out of your ass and let's see how creative YOU get!)Juan Navarrohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02162417287125897071noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12937931.post-85443158016721402432007-12-03T07:44:00.000-08:002007-12-03T07:47:06.662-08:00Ok, ok, less take it from hereSo yeha set this up in 2005 as a blog for D&D....fuck, that went well right? De pinga.
ANywho I'lll be jotting things down in here from what we got, and maybe some of the drawings jsut as place to touch base for my group and me.
More to come.Juan Navarrohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02162417287125897071noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12937931.post-1116251793989116132005-05-16T06:53:00.000-07:002005-05-16T06:56:33.993-07:00"Beware the Sting of the Monarch!"That tube you feel is your trachea, think of it as a handle.
